    1. “First, I don’t usually respond to surveys. However, given my recent experience, I am thrilled to let you know how delighted I was with my recent installation of our Trane AC System. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work provided by Ray Scarfo and his team at Ranco Enterprises. During our first meeting, Ray was very thorough in explaining my options for our new system. When reviewing and comparing the several estimates I had received, I discovered I had additional questions. Ray responded to those questions promptly by email. When I still had questions regarding the layout, he came out a second time to meet with me to make sure I understood the placement of both the air handler and the duct work. When the work commenced, he was on site for the entire installation of the system, both overseeing that the work was done to his specifications and, when needed, he rolled up his sleeves and worked alongside the installers. He even pulled the refrigerant line down from the attic to the basement! Also, he is responsible for the beautiful site he created for the placement of both my condensers outside my home. All in all, I am extremely happy with the installation of my Trane system. I would highly recommend Ray Scarfo and Ranco to anyone looking to install a Trane system in their home. I needed to replace my old Trane a/c condenser and evaporator that had served me well and decided to go with the same brand again to match my Trane gas furnace. They came out that weekend to put in a new valve and even installed an anti-freeze sill c*** for just the cost of parts. They helped us walk through applying for the MassSave Heat Loan program and assisted us in resolving a few issues that arose. Communication was good throughout the planning process. The actual work took about two and a half weeks. The crew was excellent to work with—courteous, professional, and clean. The work itself was done to a very high standard. They went the extra mile by doing things like tucking duct work into the basement ceiling to keep it out of the way and placing air registers where the radiators had previously stood so that we didn’t have to patch much flooring. And perhaps most importantly, the system they installed works well. To cap it all off, Ranco even filled out my warranty and rebate applications for me at the conclusion of the work. I was promised a first delivery on the 27th or 28th and found that the tank had been filled on the 27th.
